The Full Story
Our APOD Project
The APOD would commence with a 10~15 Ha Nursery that will nurture seedlings from DxP cross that are specifically cloned to be shorter, with larger fruit, producing more fruit per tree with higher Oil Extraction Rate (OER).
The Plantation would be designed to have 142~144 oil palm trees/Ha serviced by specifically positioned rainwater collection ponds for irrigation, using biochar organic fertiliser produced from empty fruit bunch and oil palm fronds.
Harvesting and collection of fruit would be by the use of mechanized equipment reducing stress on our workforce and improving safety.
Oil refining would use the latest technology for extracting the oils, coupled with palm kernel oil extraction and a Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME) process that would also process Used Cooking Oil (UCO), producing B100 to ASTM D6751

Mission
The mission of CDD is to become the most sought-after B100 renewable fuel producer, using fully traceable feedstocks, and to expand its plantations across the tropics of Australia to support the needs of Australia's drive in reducing GHG and at the same time the Australian Defence Force, Transport and Mining Industry.
Most importantly, reducing Australia's dependence on fossil fuels
Vision
To be the first Plantation in Australia with fully certified lands acceptable to ISCC, RED & RSPO
At the same time being the largest Australian Palm Plantation & Renewable Fuel Producer.
