The Project Story

Commencing with a 10~15 Ha Nursery that will nurture seedlings from the Dura, Pisifera, and or Tenera species of Oil Palm Trees (OPT), genetically crossed and specifically cloned to be shorter, with larger fruit, producing a higher number of fruits per tree, combined with a higher Oil Extraction Rate (OER).

The Plantation would have 140~144 OPTs/Ha serviced by specifically positioned rainwater collection systems that will support state-of-the-art controlled irrigation, while using biochar organic fertiliser produced from wastes generated by the Plantation and Refinery.

Harvesting and collection of FFB would be by the use of mechanized equipment, reducing stress on our workforce and improving safety.

Oil refining utilizes the latest technology for extracting Crude Palm Oil (CPO). This oil would be processed to produce Palm Methyl Ester (PME) or a process to produce Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME) that could blend with Used Cooking Oil (UCO), producing B100 to ASTM D6751

The refinery design is capable of producing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) using a combination of feedstocks, including CPO, CPKO, UCO, Palm Kernel Shell (PKS), and Empty Fruit Bunch, which are composed of lignocellulosic materials.

Project Brief

Infrastructure & Circular Foundation

The project commences with the establishment of a 15–20 hectare site with an advanced Renewable Fuels Refinery together with a state-of-the-art nursery for palm seedlings and high-quality tissue-cultured plantlets.

  • Immediate Revenue: Processing regional Used Cooking Oil (UCO) and Tallow into high-grade B100 Biodiesel.

  • Waste Transformation: A dedicated Biochar system immediately converts 100% of land-clearing and process waste into soil-enriching Biochar.

  • Energy Sovereignty: Integration of a 100Mw+ renewable energy system using steam generated from its process, while the plantations would feature Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) over rainwater harvesting reservoirs to minimize evaporation while powering our EV harvesting fleet.

Plantation Scaling & Vertical Integration

Expansion into a 10,000+ hectare certified plantation, designed for maximum efficiency and environmental stewardship.

  • Output: Cultivating >450,000 tons of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) per annum.

  • Production: In-house processing of >120,000 tons of Crude Oil, yielding over 100 million liters of B100 Renewable Diesel annually.

Zero-Waste Ecosystem (Revenue Streams)

Our facility is engineered to ensure that "waste" does not exist. Every byproduct is captured and converted into a high-value commodity:

Engineering Highlights

  • Smart Water Management: 100% process water recycling through advanced clarification, combined with large-scale rainwater harvesting.

  • Decarbonized Logistics: Plantation operations are supported by Solar-charged EV harvesting equipment and a robust BESS infrastructure.

  • Strategic Location: Positioned in the Australian tropics to leverage optimal growing conditions and proximity to key industrial hubs.

PROCESS

  • Converts Bamboo Biomass as a feedstock to produce Methanol/Ethanol with Biochar and Activated Carbon as by-products, and Palm Oils into advanced Biofuels.

  • Produces EU RED III, compliant Sustainable Aviation Fuels, eligible for premium EU and UK markets.

  • Multiple revenue streams, including Methanol, DME/LPG, Biodiesel/FAME, Renewable Diesel, Biochar, Active Carbon, and other by-products.

  • Low capital intensity with modular design.

  • Captive steam and power plants from the biomass conversion.

  • Generates significant Carbon Credits & Carbon Sequestration through Methane capture and avoidance in the use of fossil fuels.

Pledge

To be the first Palm and Bamboo Plantation in Australia with fully certified lands acceptable to ISCC, RED & RSPO standards, at the same time, being the largest Australian Palm and Bamboo Plantations that would integrate Sustainable Low Carbon Liquid Fuels, positioning Australia to become the first refinery that includes the production of several major fuels from a single one-stop Refinery.
