CDD Australia was born from a shared passion for sustainability and a deep-seated belief in regional empowerment. Founded by co-directors with extensive experience in the Indonesian agricultural oil industry, CDD was established to solve a critical global challenge: how to produce high-quality energy without compromising the environment or local communities.
Witnessing firsthand the limitations of protectionist policies and the untapped potential of agricultural waste, our founders envisioned a more sustainable way forward. Today, CDD Australia partners with global leaders in Low Carbon Liquid Fuel (LCLF) processing and collaborates closely with First Nations Peoples, tropical regional farmers, and industry players across Northern Australia to develop 100% Australian-grown feedstocks. By transforming sustainable palm and bamboo into high-yield LCLF inputs and reprocessing every byproduct, we are proving that energy independence and environmental restoration can go hand in hand to dramatically reduce greenhouse gases.

We are pioneering environmental stewardship by establishing the country’s first certified, sustainable plantations in the Northern Tropics—proving that industrial progress and planetary care can seamlessly coexist.
Our Foundational Principles:
Regional Partnership: We will work alongside First Nations Peoples and tropical regional farmers to create local wealth and resilient agricultural supply chains. By integrating Biochar fertilizers, we help regional farmers establish vital Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) soil sequestration zones on marginal lands in undeveloped areas.
Global Insight, Local Action: Our founders leverage decades of experience in the Indonesian palm oil sector to maximize efficiency, eliminate waste, and bypass restrictive policies that hinder global GHG reduction.
Circular Innovation: We prioritize the complete reuse of agricultural byproducts, ensuring our "waste" becomes a valuable resource for soil health and renewable energy.
